Our History
Since 1978, EuroTech Services International has been a premier source for Mercedes-Benz UNIMOGs & trucks, as well as their parts, service and technical literature in North America. With humble beginnings in Bavaria, Germany, and fluency in German language, we developed strong connections within the UNIMOG factory town of Gaggenau, establishing relationships that continue to serve our customers today.
| 1970s: | Overland Years During a dozen overland journeys for humanitarian work in Southwest Asia and the Himalayas, our founder, James Ince, witnessed firsthand the UNIMOG’s unrivaled capabilities in extreme weather conditions and on severe terrain, forming the foundational experience for EuroTech. | 1978: | Company Founded EuroTech Services International established near Munich, Germany to serve the growing UNIMOG markets in both Europe and North America. |
| 1980s: | Expansion & Expertise Built further relationships with Mercedes-Benz factories and dealers while establishing strong connections within the Mercedes-Benz Organization, especially the UNIMOG division. |
| 1983: | Oregon Facility Initially operating in the San Francisco Bay area, relocated to a remote 160-acre ranch in southwestern Oregon, establishing our current base of operations. |
| 1990s: | Became an Authorized Dealership Became the first authorized Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG dealer under a new Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG general distributorship in the USA, expanding our official partnerships and parts procurement capacities. |
| 2000s: | Continued Growth Expanded our parts inventory, streamlined shipping from Germany, became an authorized dealer for Continental Tires and opened two branch locations in Oregon. |
| Today: | Specialized Expertise Celebrating 47 years of excellence. We take pride in our rapid fulfillment of most parts orders, with typically 75% of orders shipping within 24 hours – often the same day, serving professionals and enthusiasts worldwide. |
